Liverpool Catholic Club is preparing to launch Akari, an exciting new Asian Fusion dining experience opening in late ****, and we're looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand-new venue from the beginning, working alongside a talented team to create memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced and cutting-edge environment.

About Akari
Akari will bring a fresh and contemporary Asian Fusion offering to Liverpool Catholic Club, combining bold flavours, creativity and outstanding hospitality.
As a key member of the kitchen team, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality dishes and helping establish Akari as a standout dining destination.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your section and ensuring every dish leaves the kitchen to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail
Managing your assigned section during busy service periods
Maintaining exceptional food presentation and quality standards
Following food safety,



hygiene and HACCP requirements
Monitoring stock levels and helping minimise food waste
Working collaboratively with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team
Contributing to a positive, organised and skilled kitchen culture
Supporting smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
This role involves evening and weekend work as part of a rotating roster.
About You
We're looking for a motivated hospitality professional who is passionate about food and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
You'll bring:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Demi Chef
Experience in Asian, Asian Fusion or modern cuisine (highly regarded)
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
Excellent attention to detail and presentation
The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
Relevant cooking or hospitality qualifications
