Principal Project Officer – RTI & Statistical Reporting

Location: Brisbane CBD | Hybrid arrangement 1–2 days in office

Pay: $88.29 – $94.59 p/h + super

Contract: ASAP – June 2027 + potential extension

The Chance

We’re looking for a Principal Project Officer with RTI/IP experience to lead a key annual statistical reporting project across the Queensland public sector.

You’ll work with government stakeholders to establish RTI and Information Privacy reporting requirements, data collection processes and agency guidance.

A outstanding opportunity for someone who understands the RTI/IP environment and enjoys project delivery, stakeholder engagement and working across government.

Key Responsibilities
Lead business readiness activities for annual RTI/IP statistical reporting.
Define data requirements, collection processes and reporting formats.
Work with government agencies and internal stakeholders to build engagement and alignment.
Coordinate reference groups, project deliverables, risks,



actions and dependencies.
Prepare high-level briefings, progress updates and project documentation.

What We’re Looking For
Practical experience working with Queensland RTI and/or Information Privacy legislation.
Robust project coordination and delivery experience.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Understanding of data collection, statistical reporting and relevant software.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
