CRC's Advocacy, Research and Policy Unit (ARPU) exists to improve outcomes for people impacted by the criminal legal system through research, evaluation, support for direct service delivery and advocacy for systemic reform.
ARPU provides the foundation for rigorous, evidence-informed practice across CRC, ensuring that service delivery, advocacy, policy development and organisational decision-making are informed by data, research and lived experience.
The Opportunity
The Internal Data and Evidence Coordinator supports CRC's internal data and evidence agenda by working alongside staff to strengthen data collection, quality and use across the organisation.
The role assists teams to capture, manage and interpret qualitative and quantitative information, helping translate data into insights that improve practice, demonstrate program outcomes and support organisational learning.
Through providing practical support, guidance and capacity building to staff, the position plays a key role in embedding a culture of evidence-informed practice and continuous improvement across CRC.

To join us you'll need
Experience collecting, managing and analysing qualitative and quantitative data using multiple forms of evidence, including client feedback, case studies, stories, creative works and lived experience knowledge, to identify trends, demonstrate outcomes, and highlight issues affecting people impacted by criminalisation and incarceration.
Proven ability in supporting program evaluation, outcomes measurement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong skills in supporting data integrity, organisational reporting and information management including working with client management systems, databases and reporting platforms.
Experience translating complex information into accessible and actionable products for diverse audiences.
Commitment to social justice, human rights and equity, and understanding of the issues affecting people impacted by criminalisation and incarceration.
