They provide engineered equipment and associated service solutions to a range of industrial customers and are continuing to grow their aftermarket business.We are looking for an Aftermarket Business Development Manager to identify, develop and win new service and maintenance opportunities while expanding relationships across key existing accounts.About the RoleThis is a predominantly new business development role, with approximately 70% of the position focused on identifying and winning new aftermarket opportunities and 30% focused on account and key-account management.You will work closely with customers and internal service teams to understand operational requirements and develop solutions around service, maintenance and aftermarket support.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new aftermarket, service and maintenance opportunitiesDevelop new customer relationships and proactively target prospective accountsConvert existing customers to longer-term service and maintenance agreementsIdentify opportunities to expand service activity within key accountsWork closely with service teams to develop and deliver customer solutionsUnderstand market trends,
customer requirements and competitive activityDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholdersSupport customer retention and satisfaction initiativesManage the sales process from chance identification through to closeProvide regular pipeline and activity reporting to managementTravel as required to support customers and business development activitiesAbout YouWe are looking for a commercially driven Business Development / Sales professional with a strong hunter mentality and experience selling technical products, services or solutions into industrial markets.You will ideally bring:Proven experience in business development, sales or account managementA track record of developing new business and winning new customersExperience selling aftermarket, service, maintenance or technical solutionsStrong relationship-building and account management capabilityAbility to identify customer needs and translate them into commercial opportunitiesStrong communication, negotiation and presentation skillsA proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independentlyStrong commercial and analytical skillsWillingness to travel as requiredExperience within industrial equipment, engineering, manufacturing, mining, energy or other technical B2B environments will be highly regarded.
