Dawson MineSteelmaking Coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world.Dawson Mine is a large and dynamic open cut steelmaking coal mine operation made up of two operating pits – Central and South.
It commenced operations in **** and is one of the oldest coal mining operations in Central Queensland.
Dawson Mine was the first mine in Australia to export coal to Japan in **** and was the first mine to introduce draglines into its operation in ****.Job DescriptionWe would like to invite applications from experienced Dragline Operators to join our Dawson Operation in Moura, QLD on a full-time permanent basis.
The Dawson operation is a large open-cut coal mining operation showing no signs of slowing down!
You will work as part of a team operating our BE**** & Marion **** Draglines to produce Steelmaking Coal whilst demonstrating safe working behaviours and practices to achieve set targets.QualificationsBe an experienced dragline operator with Dozer skills.Demonstrated knowledge in dragline set up,
