Australian Venue Co. is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to take the lead at Galway Hooker, an authentic Irish pub in the heart of Scarborough's vibrant beachfront precinct.
Built in Ireland, transported to Western Australia and reassembled in Scarborough, Galway Hooker brings the warmth, energy and character of a traditional Irish pub to one of Perth's busiest coastal destinations.
Known for live music, big sporting moments, perfectly poured pints and a lively late-night atmosphere, this is an exciting prospect to take ownership of a venue with a strong identity, loyal following and plenty of personality.The opportunity As Venue Manager, you'll have full ownership of the venue's people, performance and guest experience.
You'll lead an established team, drive the commercial direction of the business and continue building Galway Hooker's reputation as one of Scarborough's standout hospitality destinations.ResponsibilitiesLeading, coaching and developing the venue management and front-of-house teamsTaking ownership of the venue's P&L;, labour, stock, budgets and overall performanceDriving revenue through entertainment, sporting events, local marketing and community engagementBuilding a strong, accountable and high-performing team cultureMaintaining exceptional standards across service, food, beverage, compliance and presentationCreating memorable experiences that keep guests coming backWhat's on offer?

You'll bring:Proven Venue Manager or senior leadership experience within a busy pub, bar or entertainment venueStrong commercial capability across P&L;, labour, stock management and venue KPIsExperience leading, developing and retaining high-performing teamsA confident, visible and hands-on leadership styleAn understanding of beverage-led operations, live entertainment and late-night tradeA genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiencesCurrent WA RSA and Approved Manager accreditation, or the ability to obtain themIf you're ready to lead a venue with genuine character in one of Perth's best coastal locations, we'd love to hear from you.
