Genus Services is seeking an experienced Stakeholder and Land Access Manager to join our team in North Sydney.This role is responsible for managing stakeholder and land access activities to support the successful delivery of telecommunications projects.
You will provide management and compliance expertise in securing land tenure in accordance with the Telecommunications Act ****, while ensuring projects meet client, legislative and regulatory requirements.The position will coordinate third-party stakeholder engagement across Land Access, Environment and Indigenous Heritage/Native Title activities and work closely with stakeholders and authorities across planning, design, land access and construction.Key responsibilities include:Lead and coordinate stakeholder and land access activities across projectsBuild and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and authoritiesEngage and consult with landowners, Traditional Owner/Indigenous groups and other affected stakeholdersCoordinate meetings and site surveys with stakeholders and relevant specialistsManage and coordinate external consultants to support project deliverablesResolve stakeholder and land access issues or disputesIdentify and elevate potential issues that may impact stakeholder relationshipsNegotiate, consult and present to stakeholders to support project objectivesWork closely with project teams to optimise land access and associated processesCoordinate environment, cultural heritage and Native Title activities where requiredProvide leadership and advice in relation to Environment, Culture,



Heritage and ComplianceEnsure activities and project requirements are completed within required timeframesLead, manage, mentor and develop the stakeholder and Land Access Environment teamMonitor team performance and ensure appropriate resources and capability are available to achieve project requirementsAbout YouTo be considered for this role, you will have:Minimum 10 years' experience within the telecommunications industryMinimum 5 years' experience in Land AccessProven experience successfully managing a teamDemonstrated technical knowledge of Customer Access Network (CAN) assets, work practices and standardsProven knowledge of the Telecommunications Act ****Demonstrated knowledge of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act **** and relevant State and local regulatory complianceStrong planning, organisational and attention to detail skillsHigh-level written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, numerical and problem-solving capabilityStrong stakeholder and customer relationship management skillsAdvanced ability to interpret working drawingsAbility to work independently and collaboratively across the wider businessCompetency with Microsoft Office and relevant systems and databasesQualifications in Town Planning and Environment or similar, tertiary qualifications in Leadership, Management or Project Management, and previous experience in a Land Access Workplace specialist role will be highly regarded.GenusPlus Group values diversity and inclusion, and we strongly encourage females, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to applyWhere large numbers of applications are received, only those shortlisted will be contacted.
