Genus Services is seeking an experienced Field Contract Manager to join our team in Wodonga.This is a field-focused role responsible for overseeing and managing the field aspects of assigned telecommunications contracts, ensuring contractors deliver the required contractual, commercial, customer, safety and quality outcomes.Working closely with our project teams, clients and subcontractors, you will play a key role in monitoring field delivery, conducting audits, managing contractor performance and ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.The RoleKey responsibilities will include:Oversee field-based activities across assigned contractsDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teamsConduct regular field audits of completed work and work in progress, with a robust focus on safety and qualityEnsure Safe Work Method Statements and Technical Work Instructions are followedMonitor contractor performance and ensure work is delivered within expected timeframes and quality requirementsMonitor contractor claims for completed work and ensure accuracyIdentify and address defective workmanship and coordinate required rectification worksManage field and contractor escalations in conjunction with management,



SHEQ and clientsInvestigate customer complaints and ensure appropriate actions and rectification works are completedConduct regular audits of contractor safety tools and equipmentProvide contractors with feedback regarding quality requirements and performanceRun regular toolbox meetings with contracted suppliersLiaise with project teams regarding workflow and field deliveryIdentify non-conformances and ensure appropriate remedial actions are implementedMaintain a strong focus on safety, quality, customer outcomes and project deliveryAbout YouTo be considered for this role, you will have:Previous experience managing field-based resources within a medium to large services businessExperience delivering projects safely, on time and to required quality standardsStrong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirementsStrong field-based safety and quality focusExcellent client relationship and account management skillsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsThe ability to manage day-to-day operational issues with autonomy and sound judgementStrong time management and organisational skillsThe ability to analyse information and prioritise customer requirementsStrong negotiation and relationship management skillsCompetency with Microsoft Office, including Teams, OneDrive and SharePointCurrent C Class Driver's LicenceConstruction Industry White CardA Certificate III or higher/equivalent telecommunications trade qualification and previous experience within telecommunications, utilities, construction or resources will be highly regarded.If you have strong field contract management experience and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality outcomes, we encourage you to apply.
