You will also collaborate on exciting projects and initiatives with the national team and other teams within our multi‐disciplinary business.ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:Developing, facilitating, and enhancing effective relationships with our clients and internal SLR team membersMine Rehabilitation and Closure PlansPlans of Operations/Progressive Rehabilitation and Closure PlansEnvironment management & ESGMining approvalsProviding advice regarding best practice environmental impact assessment and management principles to clients and internal SLR team membersWorking within and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across a range of sectorsDelivering clear and precise,



high quality reportsOccasional travel to undertake field studiesExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will be a positive and engaging character with a great sense of humour as well as have:A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field3 years + experience in Environmental Science, preferably in Consulting.Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary projects.Working knowledge of QLD environmental legislation and policies, standards, and guidelinesExperience in the mining, infrastructure, power and/or agribusiness sectors is highly valued but not a prerequisite.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Consulting software and intermediate-advanced excel skills.Australian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia.Our BenefitsThe benefit we are most proud of is our experienced and supportive team at SLR working together to deliver value for our clients.
