City of Newcastle invites enthusiastic school-aged Surf Lifesavers to join our Aquatic Services Team as Lifeguard Summer Trainees. You will monitor and patrol beaches and ocean baths, helping the community enjoy our spaces while co-creating the city.

The program offers valuable career exposure, working with qualified lifeguards, and versatile, seasonal hours across the summer break.
