Job Description
At Ballarat North Early Learning Centre, we are passionate about giving children the best possible start in life.
We are seeking an experienced Centre Cook who is passionate about preparing fresh and wholesome meals for children in our purpose built and fully equipped kitchen.
This is rolewill be working Monday to Friday from 6.30am - 2.30pm, commencing on Monday the 14th of September.
The role is permanent part time, working 37.5 hours per week.
The successful applicant will:
Have experience and passion for cooking and presenting a wide variety of nutritious foods that are suitable for children aged 6 monthsto 6 years;
Experience designing and planning menus that include a variety of fresh produce and variability;
Be reliable, positive and a well organised person;
Have positive time management skills; and
Enjoy working with families, colleagues and children.
You will be responsible for:
Creating a weekly Menu and providing all the meals for all the children at the centre; and
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements.
