Vitality Recruitment is recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of Werschmann Roofing Pty Ltd for this position.The successful candidate will be employed directly by Werschmann Roofing, with Vitality Recruitment managing the advertising and recruitment process on their behalf.About UsWerschmann Roofing is a growing roofing company based in Brisbane, specialising in metal roofing, roof replacements and associated roofing works across Brisbane and surrounding areas.About the RoleAs Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing roofing projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and to the required quality standards.You will work closely with company management, employees, subcontractors, builders, suppliers and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate and manage roofing projects from commencement through to completionCoordinate employees, subcontractors, suppliers and site activitiesPrepare and manage project schedules and work programsReview construction drawings, plans, specifications and scopes of workCoordinate material orders, deliveries and site requirementsMonitor project progress, quality, costs and timelinesConduct site inspections and assist with resolving technical and construction-related issuesLiaise professionally with builders, clients, suppliers and other stakeholdersCoordinate access equipment, scaffolding, guardrail and other site requirements where requiredEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant WHS requirements, company procedures and applicable construction standardsIdentify potential project delays,



variations and site issues and communicate these to managementAssist with project documentation, reporting, quotations and variationsSupport roofing crews with day-to-day project coordination and planningEnsure a high standard of workmanship and quality control across all projectsAbout YouThe successful applicant will ideally have:Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, building services, project management or a related fieldPrevious experience in project management, construction management or a similar roleStrong understanding of construction processes and site coordinationAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and stakeholder-management skillsGood problem-solving skills and a practical approach to construction projectsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood computer and administrative skillsCurrent Australian driver's licence or ability to obtain oneFull Australian working rights or eligibility for an appropriate Australian work visaExperience within roofing, metal roofing or the Australian construction industry will be highly regarded.What We Offer$100,000 – $130,000 + Superannuation, depending on qualifications and experienceFull-time position with a growing Brisbane roofing companyCompetitive salary package based on qualifications and experienceLong-term career opportunityVaried projects across Brisbane and surrounding areasSupportive and practical working environmentOpportunity to take responsibility for projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business
