Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, food preparation, and community outings.
Encourage independence, communication, and confidence
Assist individuals in developing and achieving their goals, promoting independence and self-determination.
Maintain accurate documentation of support provided and any changes in the individual's needs or preferences.
About You
Compassionate, patient, and respectful
Experience supporting young people or individuals with disabilities (required)
Comfortable providing personal care and overnight support with female clients
Previous experience administering medication (preferred but not essential)
Full driver's licence and reliable vehicle (with comprehensive insurance)
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR
Cert III Individual Support, equivalent or greater
Ability to work with others and communicate effectively with the family and care team
Ability to drive a manual vehicle (preferred but not essential)

PLEASE NOTE: Sleepovers and weekends are required in this position. Please do not apply if you are unable to do set sleepovers on a fortnightly rotating roster. All employment is casual with the chance to move to part time. We are based in Singleton but are looking for staff to work in the Maitland area as well!
