About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking reliable and customer-focused Waste Depot Attendants to join our client's team in Nowra.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable interacting with members of the public.
You will play an important role in helping the depot operate safely, efficiently and in a clean and organised manner.
This is local work in the Shoalhaven, with opportunities for ongoing employment for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Assist members of the public using the waste depot
Provide clear and friendly directions regarding waste disposal
Maintain a clean, tidy and secure depot environment
Monitor waste disposal areas and keep the site organised
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Assist with general manual handling and labouring duties as required
Work effectively as part of a team
About You
Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
Is comfortable working outdoors in a waste depot environment
Has good communication and customer service skills
Is confident interacting with members of the public
Can follow safety procedures and site instructions
Is physically capable of completing general labouring duties
Can work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
White Card
Current Driver's Licence preferred
Full Australian working rights
Ability to pass a medical and/or drug & alcohol testing
