Ramsey Plumbing & Construction is a family-run, plumbing company.
This role is based in Brisbane, with the majority of work across West Brisbane and the Ipswich area.
We're expanding our water meter exchange program and need reliable, qualified plumbers who want to earn well without the usual grind of digging and heavy labour.
About the role
We have multiple casual piece-rate Water Meter Exchange Technician positions available.
We are also willing to consider 3th or 4th year apprentices on a full time basis.
You will exchange water meters at residential and commercial properties across West Brisbane and Ipswich.
We handle the excavation - you complete the licensed plumbing work, meter swap, reconnection and documentation.
Work is scheduled in flexible blocks, with the option of week-on / week-off so you can plan around other work or time off.
High volume is available.
Earning potential increases with the number of meters you complete to standard.
What you'll do




Exchange water meters to specification and water authority requirements
Complete reconnections, testing and site documentation
Work efficiently and safely on pre-dug sites.
Communicate clearly with the office and customers
Maintain a qualified presentation and reliable trade vehicle
Follow WHS, quality and compliance requirements on every job
What you'll need
Current Queensland plumbing licence (qualified plumber)
White Card, Police Check and Blue Card
Reliable, roadworthy trade vehicle
Basic tools
Ability to work independently and manage your own productivity
Professional attitude and good communication
Comfortable covering West Brisbane and Ipswich daily
