Ninja Stadium/Cricket Tasmania is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Chefs to join our hospitality team for the ********* cricket season.
From Hobart Hurricanes match days to major events and functions, you'll play an important role in creating exceptional food experiences at one of Tasmania's premier sporting venues.

About the roleAs a member of our Kitchen Operations team, you'll support food service across our function spaces, Hurricanes Café, match days, and special events.
You'll work alongside a dedicated hospitality team in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities include:Assisting with food preparation and platingSupporting café and event food serviceDelivering food service on match days and at major eventsMaintaining food safety and hygiene standardsSupporting the Head Chef and kitchen team during busy service periodsAssisting with stock rotation,



cleaning and general kitchen duties What We're Looking ForYou will thrive in this role if you:Enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environmentBring a positive attitude and solid work ethicCan work evenings, weekends, and event days throughout the cricket seasonWork well as part of a team and communicate effectivelyHave strong attention to detail and remain calm under pressureHave experience in commercial kitchens, catering, or cafes (preferred but not essential)Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or relevant experienceHave completed Food Safety Supervisor TrainingHold a Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Us?
