Kanwal Village Medical Centre is looking for a medical receptionist to join our busy practice for a casual position, approx 15 hours a week. General Practice experience is essential.

Medical Receptionist
n
We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly and busy team. This position is for approximately 15 hours a week- over 3 shifts including Saturday mornings as well as covering shifts when needed. Applicants may be asked to provide a police check.
n
Duties include:
n
n
Making appointments
n
receiving & sending emails/faxes
n




Receiving & chasing payments via cash, Eftpos, Hot Docs (we are a private billing practice)
n
Medicare & DVA batching and claiming
n
General cleaning of practice
n
Opening & closing of the practice
n
n
Our ideal candidate will possess:

n
Experience working in General Practice
n
Excellent communication skills including a qualified & personable telephone manner
n
Detail-orientated
n
Ability to multi-task and priortise
n
Knowledge of Best Practice and Hot Docs
n
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
n
