Own the HR functionAre you an experienced HR Manager who enjoys being close to the business, working with people at all levels and having the autonomy to make things happen?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day HR function for a national business of approximately 100 employees, predominantly supporting a blue-collar workforce across multiple locations.Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be the go‐to person for all things HR, working closely with managers, team leaders and employees across the business.You'll take ownership of:Recruitment & onboarding - managing the end-to-end recruitment process and coordinating onboarding, induction and offboardingEmployee engagement & retention - supporting initiatives that improve engagement, retention and the employee experience, including pulse checks and exit interviewsPerformance & development - coordinating performance reviews and supporting managers with performance, development and underperformance mattersHR systems & reporting - owning Employment Hero, maintaining accurate employee records, improving system utilisation and providing HR reportingEmployee relations - providing practical support on workplace matters, conflict resolution and people issues,



escalating more complex matters when requiredHR policies & processes - maintaining and improving HR policies, procedures and processesPayroll & compliance - working with the payroll provider to support accurate payroll, leave, superannuation and employee entitlements, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and awardsPeople projects - supporting remuneration reviews, talent development, and other HR initiativesYou'll ideally bring:5+ years' experience in a generalist HR roleExperience across blue and white-collar environments, ideally within a multi-site or multi-state workforceStrong end-to-end recruitment experienceSound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and award interpretationExperience supporting engagement, retention and performance initiativesA practical, solutions-focused approach to employee relationsThe confidence to work independently and manage the full breadth of HR activitiesA tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related disciplineYou'll be the key HR contact for the business, with the opportunity to build solid relationships across a predominantly operational workforce.If you're a practical, hands‐on HR professional who enjoys taking ownership and getting things done, we'd like to hear from you.
