You'll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you're empowered to do your best work.Job Summary:As part of the Facility team, the Facility Engineer is responsible for supervising and performing facilities engineering work, including (but not limited to), alarm response, fault finding, maintenance, repairs, and modification of equipment relating to controls, electrical, mechanical, fire and security systems.The role is based at Shenton Park, working Monday-Friday daytime hours with the team evenly sharing the on-call roster.
For the balance of the current team, we are interested in speaking with applicants who have service and maintenance work experience with a focus on controls and electrical systems.
Key responsibilities:Coordinate and direct vendors on skilled tasks,



ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out according to standards and requirementsAssist with the creation and submission of scripts for maintenance and track the work approval process for service providersUpdate technical files for plants and equipment in cooperation with vendorsPerform site administration and incident supportPerform site logs and data gathering for permitsIdentify Single Points of Failure (SPOFs)Respond to on-site incidentsConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Support on-site staff during incidentsEnsure that processes and procedures are followed and adhered toWork with others to resolve difficult facility incidents and collaborate within the departmentMentor team members on skilled maintenance activitiesInform stakeholders of inventory needsPerform specialized maintenance across disciplinesComplete work orders and projectsCollaborate within a cross functional teamQualifications, key skills and experience:Certificate III/IV in Electrical – Instrumentation or equivalentCert IV Electrotechnology (A-grade electrician)Bachelor's degree in engineering – Electrical, ControlsExperience At least 2 Years' workplace experienceHV Switching desirableKnowledge of critical infrastructure equipment such as UPS, ATS, STS, Generators, CRAH, Chillers, BMS, PLC etc.Past data center or facility engineering experience desirableBasic to intermediate computer skills/ Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel / CADExcellent written and spoken interpersonal communication skills,
