Territory Manager – Orthopaedics | MelbourneTerritory: Melbourne Metro & Inner NorthBase: $125K + Super + BonusCompany Car ProvidedFull-Time, Permanent | Orthopaedics | Medical DevicesThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Territory Managerto join an established organisation within the orthopaedic medical device sector.Managing the Melbourne Metro & Inner North territory, you will be responsible for driving territory growth, developing new business and building strong relationships with surgeons, hospital stakeholders and key decision-makersacross public and private healthcare environments.The position combinescommercial sales responsibility with clinical and operating theatre engagement, making it ideal for someone who understands the dynamics of orthopaedic medical device sales and enjoys developing long-term relationships with clinical customers.There is also an opportunity to take ongreater leadership and mentoring responsibility over time, providing a strong pathway for an experienced sales professional looking to progress their career.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategicTerritory Sales PlanAchieve and exceed territory sales and revenue targetsIdentify and convert recent business opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships withsurgeons, hospitals and key decision-makersTarget competitor accounts and develop strategies to win new businessGrow existing accounts through cross-selling and increased product utilisationProvide product and clinical support within theoperating theatre environmentCoordinate surgeon meetings, product training, in-services and workshopsSupport case management and theatre activities across the territoryIdentify appropriate pricing and service strategies to support business growthWork collaboratively with the broader sales team and internal departmentsProvide coaching and support to other sales team members where requiredManage sales forecasting,



reporting and territory planningMaintain compliance with relevant Regulatory, Quality and Legal requirementsThe original role has a strong emphasis on bothnew-business conversion and growth within existing hospital accounts, alongside supporting and developing the wider territory sales team.About YouIdeally, we're looking for someone withorthopaedic medical device sales experiencewho has established experience working with surgeons and within hospital environments.Candidates with strong backgrounds inTrauma or Sports Medicinewould also be highly relevant.You will ideally bring:3–5+ years' medical device sales experienceExperience withinOrthopaedics, Trauma, Sports Medicineor a closely related areaStrong understanding of the hospital and operating theatre environmentDemonstrated success in territory growth and new business developmentExperience building relationships with surgeons and clinical stakeholdersStrong commercial and territory planning capabilityExcellent communication, presentation and negotiation skillsConfidence providing clinical and product educationStrong account-management and relationship-building skillsAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced, target-driven environmentLeadership, coaching or mentoring capabilityA proactive and commercially focused approachWhat's On Offer?
