Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role includes preparing statements and reports to ensure accuracy and conformance to reporting, procedural standards and statutory compliance.
You will prepare, examine and analyse financial, accounting and taxation information and assist in providing accurate and practical advice to the business, focused on adding value.Role includes:Assist in formulating budgetary and accounting policies to ensure financial stability and compliancePrepare comprehensive financial statements suitable for presentation to the board of directors, management, shareholders and governing and statutory bodiesConduct financial analysis, prepare detailed reports, undertake audits and provide expert advice on various financial mattersExamine operating costs and analyse income and expenditure to identify opportunities for optimisationProvide assurance regarding the accuracy of information within financial reports and ensure compliance with statutory requirementsOffer expert financial and taxation advice pertaining to business structures,



strategic plans and day-to-day operationsIntroduce and maintain accounting systems and advise on the selection and implementation of computer-based accounting systems for efficiency and accuracyMaintain internal control systems to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrityAssess cash flow and evaluate the financial risk associated with capital investment projects when necessaryOffer services related to compliance based financial reporting, auditing, insolvency and accounting information systems.
Provide guidance on associated record-keeping requirementsQualification and Skill Level Required:Bachelor Degree in AccountingTwo years relevant experience in accounting and closely related accounting experienceVast knowledge on accounting, taxation, high operational knowledge in accounting systemsHave solid communication skills and attention to detailHave a strong work ethicAble to work autonomously and as part of a teamBe able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesExperience with Sage Intacct advantageousPrevious job experience in the construction industry preferred
