We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused technician to join our team, servicing, maintaining, installing and repairing commercial catering and food service equipment across customer sites.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with customers, and keeping critical kitchen equipment running safely and efficiently.About the RoleAs a Catering Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, completing repairs, carrying out preventative maintenance, and installing and commissioning commercial kitchen equipment.You will work closely with customers and our internal team to deliver reliable, professional and high-quality technical service.What You'll Be DoingService, Maintenance & RepairsDiagnose and repair commercial catering equipmentCarry out preventative maintenance and servicingTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration and hydraulic faults, where licensed and authorisedTest equipment following repairsEnsure all work is completed safely and to a high standardInstall and commission commercial kitchen equipmentComplete operational testing and commissioningConduct customer handovers and explain equipment operationEnsure installations meet manufacturer requirements and relevant regulationsComplete installation and service documentationCustomer ServiceProvide professional on-site technical supportRespond promptly to service calls and customer requirementsExplain faults,



repairs and maintenance requirements clearlyBuild strong and qualified customer relationshipsRepresent the company positively at customer sitesService AdministrationComplete service reports and job records accuratelyRecord parts, labour and equipment detailsIdentify required replacement partsAssist with repair quotations where requiredMaintain accurate vehicle stock and parts inventorySafety & ComplianceFollow all WHS and company safety proceduresSafely isolate and test equipment before commencing workCorrectly use tools, test equipment and PPEReport hazards, incidents and non-conformancesMaintain compliance with applicable electrical, gas and industry requirementsWhat We're Looking ForExperience servicing or repairing commercial catering or food service equipmentStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams and schematicsGood communication and customer service skillsCurrent driver's licenceElectrical licence and/or restricted electrical licenceAbility to work independently and manage service jobs efficientlyTrade qualification in Electrical, Refrigeration, Appliance Service or a related fieldGas fitting licence and/or refrigeration handling licenceExperience with combi ovens, commercial dishwashers, refrigeration and cooking equipmentExperience using service management software or mobile job management systemsWhy Join Us?
