We are seeking an experienced Regional Safety Manager to lead our WHS and Food Safety strategy across SSP Australia & New Zealand, driving compliance, safety performance and a proactive safety culture across our operations.
Reporting to the Group Head of Operational Excellence, you will provide strategic leadership across safety governance, compliance, incident management, injury management, audits, training and safety culture.
Regional Safety Manager - Melbourne
We are seeking an experienced Regional Safety Manager to lead our WHS and Food Safety strategy across SSP Australia & New Zealand, driving compliance, safety performance and a proactive safety culture across our operations.
Reporting to the Group Head of Operational Excellence, you will provide strategic leadership across safety governance, compliance, incident management, injury management, audits, training and safety culture.
About the Role
Develop and lead the APAC Safety strategy and governance framework
Lead and develop Regional Safety Managers and Safety teams
Oversee WHS, Food Safety, incident investigations and corrective actions
Drive workers compensation and injury management outcomes
Monitor compliance, audits, risks and safety performance across multiple jurisdictions
Partner with Operations, HR, Legal and senior leadership to embed safety into business operations
About You
10+ years' experience in WHS leadership, ideally within hospitality, food & beverage or multi-site retail
Strong experience across complex, multi-site or multi-jurisdictional operations
Comprehensive knowledge of Australian WHS legislation
Experience in incident management, audits, workers compensation and injury management
Diploma/Bachelor in WHS or equivalent, with minimum Cert IV in WHS
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel across APAC as required
