SJG PLUMBING AND DRAINAGE are a well-established family owned plumbing company looking for a qualified tradesmen to join their team on a permanent full time basis.Key responsibilitiesInstallation and maintenance of plumbing and drainage systems.Test, troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing and drainage systems to ensure they are functioning properly and make appropriate recommendations for repairs and replacements.Maintain tools and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition and secure to use.Comply with safety legislations, regulations and standards including use of appropriate PPEs and following all safety procedures.Communicate with clients to understand their needs, explain the work that you will be doing.Accurate recording keeping of the job, including time spent on each job, material used,
and any problems encountered.Comply with company policies and procedures.Maintain current knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work.Maintain and update industry specific license.About youFully qualified and Licensed plumber - Certificate III or Certificate IV in PlumbingGas fitting license/experience highly recommended (not essential)Current and valid Qld Driver's LicenseConstruction Industry White CardAbility to work cooperatively with other tradesAbility to work independently or as part of a teamPride in workmanship, reliable and professionalExcellent communication and time management skillsImmediate startExcellent pay above award wagesA work ute for the right candidateSupportive team environmentFlexible Work/life balanceVariety of projects
