Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel - Fund Manager

JS Careers are pleased to be exclusively assisting a leadingfund manager firm seeking an experienced Legal Counsel/ Senior Legal Counsel to join its high performing in-house legal function.

Working closely with the General Counsel and wider legal team, this role offers broad exposure acrossfund formation, regulatory advice and day-to-day commercial workin a quick-paced investment workplace.
n
The role will involve:
n
n
Advising on a wide range ofcorporate and commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
n
Supporting fund formation, structuring and ongoing operations.
n
Providing advice onfinancial services regulation and compliance
n
Assisting withproduct and services documentation, governance and company secretarial matters
n




Managing relationships withexternal legal advisers
n
n
About you:
n
n
Australian qualified lawyer with6 - 15years' experience (private practice and/or in-house)
n
Background ininvestment funds
n
Robust commercial drafting and negotiation skills
n
Confident working with senior stakeholders in a high-performance environment
n
n
