sanitary food-handling practices.Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.Sharpen choppers, knives, slicers, and grating machinesPreparing and organizing grills and buffets to make sure in working order.Check all cooking utensils and equipment are clean and ready for a full shift.Prepare sauces and curries.QualificationCertificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher in a related field is requiredAt least one year of relevant experienceRemunerationThe successful candidate will be paid a salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation.
