What you'll be doing
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of belt splicers, trainees, and trades staff
Coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient site operations
Plan and oversee shutdowns, inspections, and audits
Work hands‐on when needed – pulley, bearing, and mechanical maintenance
Drive a safety-first culture – ensure full compliance with WHSE standards
Engage directly with clients to maintain strong relationships and high service standards
Promote reliability and continuous improvement across all site activities
What we're looking for
Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical (Fabrication-qualified applicants also considered)
Proven experience in preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
Leadership skills – ability to coach, mentor, and lead by example
Dogging & Rigging tickets highly regarded
Excellent communication and client engagement skills
Commitment to WHSE excellence and safe work practices
Ability to work independently, adapt to changing site conditions, and manage multiple tasks
