They are now seeking an experienced BMU Service Technician / Electricianto join their growing Sydney operations.This role will involve servicing, repairing, upgrading, modifying and replacing Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), undertaking planned maintenance activities, troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns, and implementing best-practice long-term solutions to improve reliability.The successful candidate will be recognised as a technical subject matter expert, using their specialised knowledge and previous experience to determine the most appropriate methods and procedures for different work situations.
You will work across a range of equipment, tools, materials and systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and customer service.This is a hands-on technical role suited to an experienced Electrician who is confident with fault finding and diagnostics, can work independently within a small team, and has a strong understanding of electrical systems and PLC programming.




$90,000 - $120,000 per yearResponsibilities include but not limited to:Service, maintain, repair, upgrade, modify and replace Building Maintenance Units (BMUs)Undertake planned preventative maintenance activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdownsDiagnose faults and implement effective long-term solutionsPerform electrical fault finding and diagnostic workAssist with improving the reliability and performance of BMU equipmentApply appropriate methods, procedures, tools and equipment to different work situationsEnsure all works are completed in accordance with WHS and OH&S; requirementsDeliver compliant OH&S; systems on siteMaintain a high standard of customer service and professionalismWork collaboratively with the wider BMU and facilities management teamComplete work safely, efficiently and to a high standardParticipate in technical and customer service training as requiredThe ideal candidate:Previous experience in service and maintenance rolesDemonstrated well-developed fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience with PLC programming and troubleshootingExperience working with Building Maintenance Units or similar specialised equipment would be advantageousComfortable working at heightsStrong understanding of WHS regulations and proceduresUnderstanding of and commitment to compliant OH&S; systems on siteAbility to work effectively in a small team without close supervisionStrong customer service and communication skillsTechnically competent with a practical, hands-on approachSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyPhysically fit and capable of performing the requirements of the roleAustralian Driver's LicenceWhite CardFull working rights in AustraliaClean police record
