We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team on a 14-month fixed term Parental Leave contract, commencing in October ****.Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for managing key financial compliance and operational functions across the business.
You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and taxation requirements, and contributing to a high performing finance team.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading and mentoring members of the teamManaging financial accounting, including reporting, reconciliations and compliance activitiesOverseeing payroll and associated compliance and reporting obligationsSupporting Financial Controller with accounts payable, corporate cards and accounts receivable functions, as requiredMaintaining robust financial controls,



systems and processes in line with Umwelt requirementsPreparing and reviewing tax obligations and regulatory requirementsSupporting audits and providing financial advice to senior leadersDriving continuous improvement initiatives across finance operationsAbout YouTo be successful, you will bring:CA or CPA qualificationPrevious experience in a Finance Manager or similar roleStrong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation requirementsDemonstrated experience leading and developing finance professionalsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with previous experience using Employment Hero considered highly desirableA proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvementJoin the TeamAs part of our recruitment process, candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening, which includes verification of work rights, identity and qualifications and may include criminal history checks, medicals and other specific assessments where applicable.
