Our people value the supportive environment and the chance to contribute meaningfully to complex, high-impact projects.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our growing Engineering team based in Braeside VIC.Working closely alongside the Engineering Manager, this role will provide technical leadership across tenders, estimates, and project delivery while supporting the ongoing development of Keller's engineering capability nationally.You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and implementing detailed geotechnical designs across piling and ground improvement projects, while mentoring developing engineers and contributing to innovative and commercially effective engineering solutions.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and review detailed geotechnical and structural designs for piling and ground improvement projectsProvide technical support and design verification during project deliveryUndertake advanced numerical modelling and analysisMentor and develop graduate engineers and other developing design staffSupport tenders, estimates, technical submissions, and constructability reviewsEnsure designs comply with Australian Standards, client requirements,



and Keller HSEQ standardsDevelop innovative and cost-effective engineering solutionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholdersSupport business development activities and represent Keller in technical discussions where requiredAbout youBachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering7–10+ years' experience in geotechnical design and project deliveryProfessional Engineer status with ability to obtain registration and licensing across Australia, including Victoria, South Australia, and TasmaniaStrong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation systems, and ground improvement solutionsHigh level proficiency in software including Plaxis 2D/3D, WALLAP, RAPT, ADSEC, or similar geotechnical modelling toolsStrong communication, leadership, and mentoring capabilityAbility to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teamsKnowledge of Australian Standards including AS****, AS****, and AS****Structural and Civil Engineering experience will be highly regardedWhy work with usJob stability with a global leaderFlexible working environmentStrong commitment to learning and developmentCollaborative and supportive team cultureContribute to sustainability improvements in constructionKnowledge-sharing from global expertsFair employment practices with a focus on promoting from withinExposure to innovative projects and career progression opportunitiesKeller Australia is an equal opportunity employer, and we support diversity in our workforce.
