Seeking an experienced Mechanical Workshop Controller/Manager to join our team in Molendinar, QLD.
This is a full-time 5 day week position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our automotive workshop.
As Workshop Controller/Manager, you will oversee all mechanical operations, ensure quality standards are maintained, manage staff effectively, and drive efficiency across the workshop.
This role is essential to our business success and directly impacts customer satisfaction, profitability, and team performance.Key responsibilitiesOversee all mechanical workshop operations, including scheduling, workflow management and resource allocationManage and supervise workshop mechanicsEnsure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulationsConduct quality inspections on completed vehicles and ensure customer satisfactionMaintain detailed records for invoicingLiaise with customers regarding repairs, maintenance requirements and quotationsManage inventory on spare partsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policiesResolve issues professionallyWhat we're looking forProven experience working in an automotive workshop environment, ideally as a MechanicStrong technical knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems,
diagnostics and repairsDemonstrated experience managing and motivating teams effectivelyExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency with workshop management software and computer systemsSound knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to automotive workshopsProblem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressureA commitment to maintaining high quality standards and customer serviceCertifications in automotive mechanics, Air Conditioner licence and RWC LicenceValid driver's licence including HRAbout usOur Workshop is a dedicated automotive service provider specialising in vehicle maintenance, repairs and servicing.
