Our Head Office is based in Cheltenham and we provide labour hire, traffic control, carpentry & construction services to a broad range of clients all over Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast & Brisbane.We are now looking for an OHS Coordinator to join our team on a full time basis operating out of our Melbourne office and attending client sites across Victoria.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to become part of the team.
Strong knowledge of State legislation and admin skills are essential to this role.
Plenty of career development opportunities and perks on offer for the right candidate.About this role:Day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:Prepare, issue and maintain SWMS, distributing via Buildpass, Hammertech or client platformsConduct documented site safety audits and assign corrective actions where requiredPlan and deliver toolbox talks, recording attendance and outcomes in SafetyCulture and the IMSCoordinate weekly OHS meetings and monthly OHS committee meetings, including agendas and minutesMaintain accurate OHS data, registers and records in the IMS, and report on trendsMonitor changes to State OHS legislation and update policies and procedures accordinglySupport injury management for workers in the field,



liaising with the Return to Work CoordinatorCommunicate safety learnings to workers and clients, and support WorkSafe and client investigationsAbout you:2+ years experience in an OHS role ideally in the construction or labour hire industriesCertificate IV in WHS/OHS or relevant qualificationCurrent driver's licence and White CardWorking knowledge of State OHS legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian StandardsConfident using digital platforms such as Hammertech, Buildpass or SafetyCulture, or a fast learner with new systemsStrong communication skills and comfortable engaging with workers, supervisors and clients on-siteWell organised with strong attention to detail and record-keepingA proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to get out on-site regularlyPoint Force Group perks:Ongoing training, support and development - we invest in our team's professional development.Fun, happy team-oriented culture - we know how to have a laugh!
