This is a sales-focused role: you will visit customers in their homes, build rapport, understand their vision, develop a customised outdoor-living solution and confidently ask for the sale.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Design Consultant, you will support customers in bringing their backyard dreams to life through customised design solutions.
With experience, you will offer thoughtful design advice tailored to their style, budget, and practical needs.
Attending pre-arranged in-home customer appointmentsPreparing and presenting quotationsConfidently handling objections and closing salesFollowing up opportunities and maximising every provided leadAchieving individual sales targets and KPIs

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who can combine creativity with strong sales ability.
You must be comfortable building rapport, discussing budgets, presenting value, handling objections and confidently asking customers to proceed.
Proven sales, customer consultation or business-development experienceStrong communication and rapport-building skillsConfidence presenting and closing high-value salesThe ability to understand spaces and develop practical design solutionsStrong organisation and customer follow-up skillsExcellent attention to detailThe ability to work independently while contributing to a team
Availability to attend customer appointments Monday to Friday and half-day Saturdays
A valid driver's licenceA reliable and well-maintained vehicleYour own suitable laptop
