As part of a major business transformation initiative, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Migration Lead to support the delivery of a large-scale SAP ERP implementation.
This role will see you joining a high-performing program team working across multiple business units and stakeholder groups within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
It's an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile transformation program with broad organisational impact.About the RoleThis is a contract engagement, working hybrid 3 days per week in the office.
You'll own the data migration workstream end to end, from strategy through to cutover, ensuring clean, complete, and validated data lands in the new SAP environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead the data migration strategy, approach, and roadmap for the SAP ERP programManage the full ETL lifecycle: extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load across legacy and target systemsDevelop and maintain data mapping, migration rules,



and reconciliation processesLead data quality assessments and remediation activities in partnership with business data ownersCoordinate mock loads, dress rehearsals, and cutover data loadsManage data migration testing, defect resolution, and sign-off with functional and technical teamsPartner with SAP functional consultants (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.) to align migration objects with business processesReport on migration progress, risks, and issues to program leadershipLead and mentor a small team of data analysts/migration specialistsSkills & ExperienceProven experience leading data migration on at least one large-scale SAP ERP implementation (S/4HANA preferred)Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP data migration tools (e.g. SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, LTMC, BODS, or similar ETL tools)Solid understanding of SAP data objects across core modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.)Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation at scaleStrong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging both technical and business audiencesExperience working within structured program/project delivery frameworksExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for non-technical stakeholders
