This is a hands-on technical role working closely with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Fabrication and Site teams to produce accurate, practical and constructible drawings and coordinated 3D models.
The role will support projects from concept and detailed design through fabrication, installation, commissioning and final as-built documentation.
You will be responsible for preparing and coordinating high-quality engineering drawings and models across mechanical, piping, structural, civil and equipment interfaces.
Key responsibilities
Preparing 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorksDeveloping detailed layouts, assemblies and fabrication drawingsProducing general arrangements, piping layouts, skid and modular plant drawingsCoordinating multidisciplinary BIM modelsUndertaking clash detection and interface coordinationPreparing fabrication-ready drawings and Bills of Materials where requiredConverting engineering mark-ups, site measurements,



vendor drawings and red-lines into controlled documentationMaintaining drawing registers, revisions and document statusCoordinating vendor drawings and equipment interfacesSupporting Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Site teams with technical information
About you
Formal qualifications in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Design, BIM, CAD or a related disciplineStrong practical experience using AutoCADStrong practical experience using SolidWorksExperience producing detailed engineering and fabrication drawingsPractical BIM coordination experienceAbility to interpret P&IDs;, specifications, engineering mark-ups and vendor informationExperience with 3D modelling and multidisciplinary interfacesUnderstanding of fabrication and construction methodsStrong revision control and document-management disciplineAbility to manage multiple drawing packages and priorities
