A CBD based hotel pub group with five venues is looking for a passionate, motivated, well-presented hospitality professional to plan and co-ordinate a range of events, functions, and customer bookings.
Clientele includes the corporate sector, private, local & International promoters & govt.
departments.With the support of a team you will oversee and manage the entire event cycle from inquiry, negotiation and conversion, planning and execution, to reporting and identifying opportunities for further growth.Responsibilities include:Generating leads and contacts and drive a high conversion rateHandling inquiries, sales and site inspectionsCo-ordination of reserved area bookings, events and promotionsProduce booking agreements, run sheets,



and floor plans for each eventManaging and building client databaseThe ability to develop and nurture current and existing client business relationshipsWork closely with Venue Managers and Senior Management to ensure smooth running of planned eventsSkills & Requirements include:Minimum 2 years' experience in an function and event sales/ management roleOutgoing personality with a proactive approach, who can develop relationships, build rapport with various market sectors and jump on the phones to chase businessExcellent customer service and communication skillsMultitasker with excellent time management and administrative skillsThe ability to work to deadlinesHigh standards of personal presentationA preferred background in pubs or venuesTertiary qualifications in Hospitality or Event Management an advantageMomentus Elite event software knowledge advantageousThis is your opportunity to join a leading Hotel Group, the package will include a competitive salary that matches your experience.
