The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of a wide range of sheet metal products, working from engineering drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.Mark out, cut, fold, roll, and fabricate sheet metal components.Operate fabrication equipment.Perform welding and assembly of fabricated components where required.Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets specifications and company standards.Maintain a clean, safe,
and organised work environment.Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets and deadlines.Skills & ExperienceEssentialTrade qualification in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, or relevant industry experience.5+ years experience highly regarded.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Experience operating sheet metal fabrication machinery.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude toward safety.Ability to work independently and within a team setting.DesirableMIG/TIG welding experience essential.Forklift licence.Experience in stainless steel mild steel and aluminium fabrication.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate based on experience.Overtime opportunities.Supportive team environment.Ongoing training and career development.Secure, stable employment with a growing company.Exceed Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
