The practice acts on significant matters arising from major construction and engineering projects across Australia, with opportunities available in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.The role:The focus is firmly on back-end construction, working across complex and commercially significant disputes for major participants in the construction sector.Your matters will include:Delay, disruption and variation claimsDefects and contractual disputesSecurity of payment mattersDisputes arising from major construction and engineering projectsAustralian Standard construction contract disputesLitigation, mediation, arbitration and other dispute resolutionStrategic advice on developing claims and project issuesThe work is technically challenging and often involves substantial documentation, expert evidence and detailed contractual analysis.At Special Counsel level, you will be trusted to take ownership of matters rather than simply support from the sidelines.
You will work directly with clients, contribute to strategy and manage significant disputes alongside experienced senior lawyers.There is also scope to mentor junior lawyers,



strengthen existing client relationships and continue developing your own profile within the market.Why consider it?
