Job Description
SCE will be operating a new, contemporary plant at Port Kembla Steel Works and seeks multi-skilled slag-handling operators to join the team.
This hands-on role involves working around heat, molten slag and heavy mobile equipment, with training across several operating positions on a rotating 12-hour day/night roster.
You will operate Kress Carriers and CAT 990 loaders, participate in pre-starts and inspections, and support plant operations and maintenance under guidance from the Shift Team Leader.
