We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our in-office team in Townsville.

About the Role
This is an opportunity to manage your own client portfolio while continuing to develop your technical expertise and advisory capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMEs, trusts and partnershipsReview junior team members' work and provide coaching supportLiaise directly with clients on accounting and tax queriesAssist with tax planning and advisory projectsContribute commercially-minded ideas to improve client outcomesManage workflow with accountability for quality and timelinessLead initiatives in Tax, Business Advisory, or Financial Services specialisations
This role suits someone who enjoys both technical excellence and meaningful client relationships.
About You:
Australian Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,
or a related field4+ years of Australian public practice accounting experienceSolid knowledge of accounting standards and Australian tax legislationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage workflows independently and mentor junior team membersStrong communication and client relationship skills, both written and verbalExperience in Tax, Business Advisory, or Financial ServicesCA/CPA qualifications (completed or currently undertaking)Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
