About the Roleu&u; are partnering with a well-regarded engineering consultancy to bring on an Associate Mechanical Engineer for their Brisbane Building Services team.It's a senior, hands-on role.
You'll be entrusted with steering medium to large projects from concept through to completion, across a portfolio that spans defence, commercial, health and transport work, so no two weeks look the same.Beyond the technical delivery, this is a chance to shape a team.
You'll mentor engineers coming up through the business, work closely with clients as a trusted advisor, and have a real say in how projects and people are set up to succeed.
It suits someone who's done the hard yards in consulting and is ready for more ownership, in a workplace that backs flexibility and trust rather than just talking about it.Key ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical design and delivery on medium to large-scale building services projects;Own project outcomes end to end, from concept through to construction;Mentor and provide technical direction to engineers across the team;Manage scope, programme and budget to keep delivery on track;Work closely with architects, other disciplines and external stakeholders;Build lasting client relationships that bring in repeat work;andCheck designs and documentation for technical quality,
