The Role
We are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join our growing team.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing for our clients across Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Fiji, and other regions.
You will act as a trusted partner and first point of contact for your client portfolio, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
Manage end-to-end payroll (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) for multiple clients
Prepare, calculate and process wages, payslips, and reports
Handle payroll reconciliations and employee payments
Ensure compliance with local regulations (ATO, Super, Payroll Tax, IRD, etc.)
Manage all lodgements and payments (superannuation, payroll tax, terminations, leave, etc.)
Maintain accurate payroll and employee records




Stay up to date with payroll legislation and regulatory changes
Contribute to process improvements and payroll-related projects
Client Management
Act as the main point of contact for clients and their employees
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Manage and respond to payroll-related queries in a timely manner
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality service
Keep up to date with payroll regulations and industry trends
Develop a strong understanding of Polyglot's services and global operations
About You
Previous payroll experience is a plus (but not essential)
Strong knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping principles
High attention to detail and analytical mindset
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong client service and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with DataCom is advantageous
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
