What's the opportunity?
Evolution are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our Open Cut Mining team.
If you know your way around large production excavators and take pride in safe, efficient operations, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work on a well‐run mine site.Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll be responsible for operating production excavators to deliver daily mining targets while maintaining strict safety, environmental and equipment standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
Operating large excavators in line with mine plans and design tolerances
Maintaining dig faces, floor RLs, batters and haul roads to maximise efficiency
Completing pre‐starts, identifying defects and operating equipment within limits
Using MineStar GPS to ensure accuracy and reporting system issues
Contributing to safe, productive shifts through clear communication and teamwork
Actively participating in pre‐starts, toolboxes and continuous improvement

Does this sound like you?
You're a capable, safety‐focused operator with 1+ years' experience operating excavators on a mine site.
You understand production pressures, look after your gear, and do things the right way, every shift.
You'll bring:
Open to relocating to West Wyalong
Strong safety awareness and hazard identification skills
Good mechanical sympathy and attention to detail
The ability to work a rotating roster and perform in a team environment
