We are working with a welcoming and well-established independent Christian school in North Queensland seeking an experienced Secondary Science/Maths Teacher to join their team for the **** school year.
The school is looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Senior Secondary Science or Maths, who can deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences across the secondary years.
The Opportunity
The school is seeking a Secondary Science & Maths Teacher with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Senior Maths
The successful applicant will have experience teaching Year 11 and Year 12 and a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and senior secondary assessment requirements.
About You
Applicants must:
Have Australian working rights
Have experience teaching Year 11 and Year 12
Have previous Australian Curriculum teaching experience
Hold, or be eligible for, Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
Have strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
Be committed to working within a Christian school workplace
Be passionate about student learning and achieving strong educational outcomes
