Waterproofers – Experienced & Trainee Positions Available
We are seeking experienced Waterproofers as well as Trainees/New Starters to join our growing team on a full-time basis in Sydney NSW.
This is a hands-on position working across a variety of residential and commercial construction projects.
Experienced waterproofers will be responsible for delivering waterproofing works to a high standard, managing their allocated areas and working professionally alongside the team, builders, supervisors and other trades.
For trainees and new starters, this is an opportunity to learn the waterproofing trade from experienced professionals, develop practical skills and build a long-term career within the industry.

Key responsibilities
Install liquid and sheet membrane waterproofing systems in accordance with project specifications
Carry out surface preparation, priming, detailing, bond breakers and terminations
Read and interpret drawings, specifications and waterproofing scopes
Prepare work areas prior to application
Ensure waterproofing systems are installed correctly and to manufacturer requirements
Work effectively with builders, site supervisors and other trades
Identify and communicate site issues, access requirements and potential variations
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
Complete works within required project timeframes
Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian Standards, manufacturer requirements and site safety procedures
Complete quality checks to ensure a high standard of workmanship
For trainees/new starters, participate in on-the-job training and develop practical waterproofing skills
What we're looking for
Experienced Waterproofers
Proven experience in the waterproofing industry




Experience with liquid and/or sheet membrane systems
Strong understanding of waterproofing preparation, detailing and application
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Ability to work independently and take ownership of allocated areas
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Professional communication skills when dealing with builders, supervisors and other trades
Reliable, punctual and committed approach to work
Current driver's licence
White Card
Trainees / Current Starters
No previous waterproofing experience required
Strong willingness to learn and develop a trade
Good work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable, punctual and committed
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Good communication skills
Comfortable working on construction sites
Current driver's licence preferred
White Card preferred/required
Previous construction or trade experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential for the right candidate.
