Graduate Environmental Consultant/Scientist

We are looking for a highly motivated Environmental Scientist, Earth Scientist or Engineering or related graduate to work across a broad portfolio of challenging projects associated with contaminated land, and work with a diverse and dynamic team of passionate environmental scientists, while delivering multi-disciplinary projects, for a range of diverse clients based locally and nationally.
The role will comprise a significant amount of fieldwork involving soil, groundwater sampling, and site inspections.
We are looking for a highly motivated Environmental Scientist, Earth Scientist or Engineering or related graduate to work across a broad portfolio of challenging projects associated with contaminated land, and work with a diverse and dynamic team of passionate environmental scientists, while delivering multi-disciplinary projects, for a range of diverse clients based locally and nationally.
Key responsibilities
Supporting the delivery of projects including field investigations, data management and technical reporting for contaminated site assessments
Providing field and office based technical input on environmental assessment and contamination remediation projects
Interpretation and analysis of laboratory and field data, and contributes to the preparation and review of factual and detailed technical reports to be reviewed by more senior consultants/scientists
Perform soil sampling and waste soil classification in accordance with EPA Guidelines
Collect field samples and perform field logging of soil
Develop an understanding and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Codes and Environmental Regulations and Guidelines




Work as part of a team to support achievement of company objectives, targets and project goals
About you
Degree qualified in Environmental Science/Engineering, Earth Science, Geology or equivalent
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Unrestricted work rights in Australia
A willingness to take a hands-on approach
Strong team player with the capability of also being able to work autonomously
Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
Ability to set priorities, plan work programs, meet deadlines and manage time effectively
Highly computer literate
