The firm continues to grow and is now seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in their Mackay team.You'll work with a diverse client portfolio spanning individuals, family groups and SMEs with the autonomy to manage relationships and deliver work your way.
You'll act as the 2IC to the Director across their portfolio, taking on client-facing role, allowing you to focus on client relationships,
technical work and advisory opportunities.Some responsibilities include:Preparation and review of income tax returns for all entities and all other compliance requirementsPreparation and analysis of management reportsWork on various tax issues including FBT, Div7A, CGT, GST, PSI, tax planning and structuringProviding support to Director in relation to client management and project based work.Applicants:Experience working in a Senior Accountant capacityApproximately 4+ years' experience in public practiceCA/CPA qualified or studyingStrong technical understanding of SME mattersDemonstrated experience dealing with clients directlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSolutions-oriented mindset and able to articulate information of varying complexities to stakeholders effectivelyThis is an opportunity to join a genuinely progressive accounting firm that values flexibility, career development and delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.
