We're looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to take ownership of the yard and run it well.About the roleYou'll be responsible for the day to day running of the Dubbo site, including:Supervising and leading the site teamOverseeing the receipt, sorting and processing of scrap metalCoordinating transport and outbound loadsBuying scrap over the weighbridge and building relationships with suppliersMeeting scrap metal industry compliance requirements, including seller identification, transaction records and cashless payment obligationsDelivery dockets,



paperwork and record keepingDriving safety on site and ensuring the yard stays compliantThis is a role for someone who wants to own their yard, not just work in it.
You'll have the autonomy to run the site your way, while working closely with our other branches and the wider AMR team.About youProven leadership experience running a site, depot or crewScrap metal experience is highly desirable, but we'll consider strong leaders from similar industries such as waste, recycling, transport, quarrying or heavy industryA genuine commitment to safety and doing things properlyCommercially minded, with good judgement around buying and pricingMotivated, practical and able to make decisions on the spotWhat we offerA permanent, full time role with a secure and growing businessCompetitive salary based on experienceReal autonomy and the backing of a seven site networkRelocation assistance will be considered for the right candidate
