The café focuses on fresh, seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients, offering a menu that celebrates quality flavours and creative dishes.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:The Gallery Cafe is looking for an experienced Chef / Cook to join our agile team in a full-time position.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Designing menus, calculating food,



and procuring food suppliesSupervising dish quality throughout preparation and presentationConsulting with kitchen staff and servers about food preparation mattersDemonstrating methods and providing guidance on cooking techniquesPreparing and cooking mealsEducating on and ensuring compliance with hygiene standardsPerform other duties and responsibilities as required or requestedWHAT YOU NEED:Trade certificate in Commercial Cookery (preferably Certificate IV in Kitchen Management) is mandatory and a Diploma in Hospitality Management is highly desirable.A minimum of 2-3 years managerial experience working in a fast pace, high-volume restaurantGood communication skillsOutstanding customer relationsFull-time and permanent position Salary Expectation: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum
