Camden Search is partnering with a well-established Victorian Government statutory authority to recruit an experienced payroll skilled to lead the delivery, governance and continuous improvement of their payroll function.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a payroll professional who wants to build scalable processes and drive genuine improvement within a growing public sector organisation.About the roleReporting to the CFO, you'll be the organisation's payroll subject matter expert — owning end-to-end payroll operations, enterprise agreement interpretation, statutory compliance and payroll systems administration, while leading and developing a small payroll team.Key responsibilitiesLead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely processingOwn payroll governance, compliance, taxation, superannuation and audit readinessInterpret and administer the Enterprise Agreement, translating industrial requirements into payroll processes and controlsLead payroll system upgrades, configuration, reporting and data analyticsPartner with Finance and IT on system and digital transformation projectsProvide expert payroll advice to managers and staff, resolving complex payroll mattersLead, coach and develop the payroll teamLead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely processingOwn payroll governance, compliance, taxation, superannuation and audit readinessInterpret and administer the Enterprise Agreement, translating industrial requirements into payroll processes and controlsLead payroll system upgrades, configuration,
